Origami Owl Owlette requirements
Our founder was only 14 when she started Origami Owl, so it’s no surprise that Origami Owl is committed to encouraging entrepreneurship for young women through our Owlette program. In this program, children aged 12-17 may join Origami Owl as Independent Designers under a parent or legal guardian. To become an Owlette, the parent or guardian must first enroll as an Independent Designer and then add the Owlette to her account.
Requirements to stay active with Origami Owl
To be considered an active Origami Owl designer, and maintain the generous 20 – 40% discount, you need to achieve $99 PV (personal volume) per month. If you miss a month, don’t worry, there is a three-month grace period. So, let’s say you join in January. If you didn’t meet the $99 PV in February, March or April, you would be considered an inactive designer in May. An inactive designer receives a 15% discount on any orders she places. So, let’s say you achieved $99 PV in May, you’d once again be considered an active designer and would revert back to the 20 – 40% discount with another three-month grace period.
