Origami Owl® has developed a brand standards guide to make sure all of their marketing pieces look similar. The goal of of branding is to ensure that when someone sees a marketing piece, whether it’s a flyer, brochure, webpage or even social media post, it is instantly recognizable as belonging to that brand. Fonts and colors are a primary element of that equation.
Origami Owl has five primary fonts and all of them can be downloaded for free, so you can incorporate them into your personally created graphics!
Origami Owl Fonts
League Gothic is the primary font used for headlines and is typically used in all caps.
Pacifico is the secondary font used for headlines. It is a playful-meets-sophisticated style that is best used in all lower case letters. Pacifico brings feminine detail and should be used for words you want to accent.
Gotham Medium is used for subheads and titles.
Gotham Book is used for body copy.
Clarendon is used for numbers.
Origami Owl Colors
The Origami Owl color palette includes four primary colors and six secondary colors. I tend to use the two most recognizable primary colors for my personal branding.
The color codes included are PMS (used primarily for printing), RBG (creating a specific color based on the combination of Red, Blue and Green), and Hex (a color combination that is supported by all web browsers). If you are creating your graphics in Picmonkey, you will want to note the Hex number.
